Fourth of July Activities Start Early, End Late in Alpharetta

The Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau says the Fourth of July is an exciting time to visit Alpharetta. So the organization compiled this list of events and activities happening on the holiday.

With the traditional July 4th Fireworks and Festivities at Wills Park or a July 4th All-American celebration with theAtlanta Symphony Orchestra on July 5, you will have a fantastic time celebrating America! Spend time with friends and family Under the Pines at a Matilda's concert. Pack a picnic and be prepared to have a blast while listening to some fabulous tunes in Alpharetta's funky and friendly music venue. After the holiday celebrations, visit the Farmers Market to pick up some fresh goodies or pack a picnic and stop by Chukkar Farms to see James Casto perform.

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends at Wills Park on Thursday, July 4.  The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department will provide two free "inflatables" for children to play and jump on from 5pm to 8pm on the lawn behind the Alpharetta Community Center.  The Alpharetta City Band will perform a medley of patriotic favorites beginning at 6pm on the lawn behind the Community Center.  Serious Business, a local band, takes the stage from 7pm to 9pm to entertain the crowd with country and rock 'n' roll favorites.  Food vendors will be in the park from 5-10 p.m. Our spectacular fireworks display begins at dusk! Fireworks will be shot regardless of the weather conditions.
