Today's Young Patch Athlete: Robert Chappell of Alpharetta

This rising sixth grader plays on the Alpharetta travel baseball team.

Robert Chappell

School: Just completed fifth grade at Lake Windward Elementary, where he graduated with all As and Bs. Exceeded in all areas on the CRCT.

Sports Bio: Started baseball at age 6. Plays travel baseball for the Alpharetta A's under Coach Skip Hamel on the team that is based out of Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta. Athletic career began through the recreational baseball program at Webb Bridge. Played for their all-star team; tried out for and made the travel team this past summer.

Scouting Report: Practices  twice a week. Plays with team most weekends during the spring, first part of summer. Tournaments Friday through Sunday can reach 5 games, making a 50-game season.
