Saturday Proclaimed Ga. Lacrosse Day; Northview to Host SELC Kickoff

The Southeastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) Championship is here again and Gov. Nathan Deal has proclaimed Saturday, April 30, as Georgia Lacrosse Day. The tourney kicks off today at Northview High School.

The Johns Creek Convention and Visitors Bureau is the title sponsor for the championships. Northview High School will host all three days of action, starting tonight, Friday, at 5:30.

Chattahoochee, Alpharetta and Lambert High Schools will also host games on Friday evening also starting at 5:30 pm. Semifinal action will begin at Northview on Saturday at noon, and championship games in two divisions will be at Northview on Sunday, May 1, at noon and 3 p.m. For tournament details, visit www.selctournament.com.
