Raiders Men's Basketball Team Heads to State Playoffs
The varsity Alpharetta High School team is the first in school history to make it to state playoffs.

North Fulton rival Roswell High took the loss that put Alpharetta into the state playoffs. The Varsity Men’s basketball team won Tuesday night over Roswell in the first round of the Region Tournament, 68-38.

- Ty Toney led the team with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assist and 3 steals.
- David Zisek also had double figures with 11 points.
- Bjorn Walker had a big rebounding night to lead the team with 12 rebounds.
- Carlos Burse had 9 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Even with these individual standouts the win was a total team effort, boosters reported.
Next up is the semifinal game against the highly ranked Eagles Friday. The regional tournament is being played at , with the game scheduled at 8:30 p.m.
