What the football team accomplished on offense in Friday’s 27-14 win over previously unbeaten West Forsyth was so noteworthy it was difficult for us to pick just one player of the week.

So, using the There's-No-I-In-Team philosophy, we chose the entire offense.

The Raiders churned out 469 total yards in beating the Wolverines, gained 371 yards through the passing game and averaged 7.2 yards per play.

The win also gave the Raiders (5-1, 2-0) sole possession of first place in Region 6-AAAAA.

Top performers from the area in last week’s games:

Joshua Dobbs, quarterback: Completed 29 of 38 passes for 371 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed seven times for 53 yards.

Daniel Clements, receiver: Had 11 receptions for 114 yards.

Carlos Burse, receiver: Caught nine passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns.

Nevin Harton, receiver: Three pass receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Adam Schildhammer, receiver: Two pass receptions, 42 yards and a touchdown.

Michael Wagner, linebacker: Had nine solo tackles, three assists, one sack and one tackle for loss.

Bryce Grauss, linebacker: Six solo tackles, one tackle for loss.

Derek Long, defensive back: Four solo tackles, one assist.

Matt DeRito, linebacker: Three solo tackles, two assists.

Khari Waithe-Alexander, defensive end: Three solo tackles, one assist, one sack, one tackle for loss.

Treyvon Paulk, running back: Rushed for 127 yards and a TD on 17 carries in a 21-20 loss to Centennial.

Colin McElroy, quarterback: Completed 13 of 18 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, and rushed 14 times for 92 yards and a TD.

Brett Barnett, receiver: Three receptions, 33 yards.

Ryan Jenkins, receiver: Three receptions, 29 yards, one touchdown.

Chris Purpura, receiver: Three receptions, 26 yards.

Zack Spiezo: One interceptions and returned a kick 33 yards.
