The future of appears to be in good hands, judging by the play of sophomore quarterback Bailey Miller.

Miller had perhaps his most important performance of the season in last week's 20-14 overtime win over Mount Pisgah.

He completed 12 of 20 passes for 225 yards for a touchdown, and scored the game-winning touchdown on a quarterback sneak in overtime.

Other top performances:

Julian Champ, wide receiver: The junior had 32 yards rushing on four carries, and one pass feceptions for 26 yards and one touchdown.

Devon Schmitt, wide receiver: The senior had seven receptions for 137 yards.

Penny Hart, running back: The freshman had a 40-yard touchdown.

Jason McCoy, defensive back: The had a late-game interception that sent the game into overtime.

Peyton Barber, running back: Had 12 carries for 60 yards in a 21-6 loss to West Forsyth.

Ryan Jenkins, receiver: Two receptions, 13 yards.

Chris Mills, punter: Averaged 40.3 yards on three punts.
