Paulk Makes Most of Start

Junior steps in for injured player in victory over Cherokee

Junior running back Treyvon Paulk had a game to remember Friday night when the Milton Eagles flew by Cherokee to open the season with a 38-14 victory.

Paulk was filling in for injured running back Peyton Barber and had 216 yards on 16 carries and three touchdowns. In fact, Paulk took off on a 95-yard run on the first play that the Eagles had the ball. Milton only had the ball 15 seconds of the first quarter. For good measure Paulk also caught one pass for 14 yards, giving him 230 total yards in the victory.
