Milton Resident Wins LPGA Tournament

Jessica Pecora won the Challenge Division of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Golf Tournament.

A Milton resident has won the Challenge Division of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Golf Tournament.  

Jessica Pecora won the tournament, which was held earlier this week at Chateau Élan in Braselton. 

Pecora, who owns CrossFit Sting in Alpharetta with her sister Danielle Pecora, has been a teaching LPGA professional for the last 20 years. 

Pecora kept her three-stroke lead in the division by between 5,900-6,200 yards, according to the LPGA's website. Elizabeth Cooper of Alexandria, Virginia, and Marlene Davis of Williamsville, New York, came in second and third places, respectively.
