Milton Cheerleaders Find a Cause Worth Backing

Milton Cheerleaders for a Cause joined together recently for a clothing drive to benefit Jesse’s House, an emergency and long-term shelter in North Georgia for adolescent girls.

With so many teens in our area getting ready for back-to-school, the Milton cheerleaders wanted to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate so cleaned out their closets, and those of sisters and friends, to gather gently-used clothing for the residents of the shelter.

 Since its inception in 1998, the non-profit Jesse’s House has provided shelter to nearly 600 girls from throughout the greater Atlanta area. Jesse’s House offers understanding and support in a loving environment to young women from a variety of different backgrounds.
