The Centennial boys knew that they had a challenge on their hands going up against the Milton Eagles in the championship game of the Region 6AAAAA Basketball Tournament on Saturday.
At the end of the first quarter, the Eagles led by 13 points, 29-16. That was as close as the Knights would get. Milton's trademark speed, quickness, and pressing defense allowed the Eagles to control the remainder of the game.
At the half, Milton increased their lead to 49-30.
The Eagles went on to post a 89-56 win over Centennial and pick up their second consecutive Region 6AAAAA Boys Basketball Championship.
