Milton beats Roswell 11-9 in high school baseball

Last inning rally falls short for the Hornets.

The visiting Milton Eagle baseball team jumped out to an early 1-0 lead over the Roswell Hornets on Dalton Ewing's first inning solo home run.

Roswell came back to tie the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the third inning when Hornet second baseman Andrew Chester scored on a wild pitch.

A two-run homer to center in the top of the fourth by Eagle right fielder Mike Martin gave the lead back to Milton, but Roswell came back with three runs in the fifth inning to go up 4-3.
