Lady Raider Lacrosse Team Makes Playoffs

The Alpharetta High School team plays Roswell on Wednesday.

The Lady Raider Lacrosse team continues to have success in the AAAAA State Playoffs has made it to the semifinals for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, their cross-Patch rival, the Lady Eagles, will visit Walton in the other semifinal game.

The men's team also made it to the playoffs, visiting Lassiter today at 7 p.m. The Milton men's team will visit Etowah in the other Final Four game, also at 7 p.m.

After wins over Kennesaw Mountain and Peachtree Ridge, the Lady Raiders are now in the Final Four for the second year in a row. The third round game to decide the State Championship contender will be held at Alpharetta High School on Wednesday, May 16 at 7 p.m. versus Roswell.

The State Championship will be held on Saturday, May 19.

The team is led by senior captains Taylor Underwood, Erica Coppage, Abby DiVagno and Kigin Hill.

Additional team members are Hannah House, Missy Harris, Elaine Bradley, Kaci Annexsted, Jessica Chapman, Lauren Balcar, Parker Nelson, Abby Flaxer, Abby Hill, Aubrey Spraetz, Tori Manning, Anna Krikorian, Lauren Adamovich, Ashley Marshall, Brianna Spinuzzi, Rebecca Rose, Megan Cave, Alexandra Holderied, Jessica Coppage, Annie Dye and Alexandra Kolesar.

They are coached by Laurie Adkins and Gayle Rutledge.
