North Fulton Golden Games Start Today

Mature active adults will take part in activities across North Fulton.

Hundreds of mature adults 50+ – like me, except they're in much better shape – will participate in the 19th annual North Fulton Golden Games starting today, which continue throughout the month.

At 9:30 a.m., mayors from North Fulton cities will help kick off the Golden Games at Park Place at Newtown School, Johns Creek's Active Adult Center. A parade of athletes will be the start of the opening day celebration.

Today all of the field day events will be held, including mile walks, discus, shot put throws, beach tennis and more.
