at Northview: Alpharetta (3-1) opens its play in Region 6-AAAAA schedule with a Northview team (1-3) that has seen a couple of games get away late after taking early leads, including last week’s 36-21 loss to Newton. Alpharetta, on the other hand, has been just the opposite, pulling out games in the end. Last week, the Raiders scored three touchdowns in the final six minutes in a 33-20 win over Marietta. This could be a close game. Alpharetta 27, Northview 17.

at Pace Academy: Things get really serious for King’s Ridge this week. The Tigers have been pretty consistent in compiling a 3-1 record, but this week brings a trip to Pace Academy, a team that has lost a good bit of talent off last year’s 9-2 team. The Knights are 1-2 after an idle week. The Tigers lost 37-7 to Pace last year, but that was last year. Could be a big win for the King's Ridge program. King’s Ridge 24, Pace Academy 23.

North Cobb Christian at : This game matches two private school playing non-region schedules and learning the ropes. The Cobb County team is a bit longer in the tooth. North Cobb Christian 14, St. Francis 3.
