Are you ready for another round of picks?

Centennial at : Alpharetta (7-1 overall, 4-0 in Region 6-AAAAA) can sew up the region championship with a win over third-place Centennial (4-4, 3-1), which still has its eyes set on securing at least a first-round home advantage in the playoffs. With a win, Centennial can force a three-way tie for first place with Alpharetta and West Forsyth with one game remaining. Alpharetta may have too much offensive firepower for Centennial, which has won its last three games by a total of nine points. Alpharetta 28, Centennial 19.

North Forsyth at : The loser of this game will have its playoff aspirations ended. Actually, it’s pretty remarkable that two teams with three wins between them can still talk playoffs so late in the season. Milton (1-3, 2-6) has the better chance to reach the playoffs. If the Eagles win this week, and then next week at last-place Roswell, it will reach the postseason. North Forsyth (1-7, 1-3) also must win its last two games to sneak in, including next week against first-place at Alpharetta, and Northview must also lose a game, but that's a tall order. Milton 24, North Forsyth 17.

Holy Innocents’ at : The biggest game of the season awaits the King's Ridge Tigers this week. Beat first place-Holy Innocents’ (7-1, 5-0 in Region 5-A North this Friday, then get from some help from Fellowship Christian (which plays Pace Academy Friday), and the Tigers can play a meaningful region play-in game next week. King’s Ridge (5-3, 3-2) has won two in a row. Can a third time be a charm? You gotta believe, right? King’s Ridge 21, Holy Innocents’ 20.
