Game Time Approaches at High School Football Stadiums

Alpharetta, Milton public and private high schools host opponents in third game of season for most.

Four teams, four kickoffs, all set for 7:30 p.m. tonight, Sept. 9.

Students, parents, teachers and alumni are heading out–or are already tailgating–at two high schools within the Alpharetta-Milton Patch, and two schools in away games.

The temperature will be in the mid to low 70s at game time, dipping to 68 degrees by 9 p.m. Sweater or light jacket weather for fans sitting in the stands on metal bleachers, but perfect for football players down on the field. The wind could come in gusts up to 10 mph at the opening kickoff, but should be less of a factor by halftime or even earlier. Sunset will arrive at 7:52 p.m., taking that factor out of play early in the game.
