The World Futbol Tour invites Georgia youth and adult futbol players to take a fun soccer break this summer and join us for one of our 1-day 3v3 (youth) & 5v5 (adult-U18 and above) tournaments in Georgia.
This summer our tour features 23 local events, 5 state Champions Cups and our World Futbol Tour World Cup II in Alpharetta on Aug. 6-7.
The 2011 Summer Season officially kicked off on June 4 and over the first (2) weeks we have had more than 325 teams play in 5 events in NC, SC and AL enjoying
engaging and fast paced "street futbol".
The tour continues next weekend with events in Charlotte, Easley (near Greenville, SC) and Dallas.

All of our local events In Georgia are qualifiers for the tour's World Cup II. The top 3 teams in each division qualify. Both of our 3v3 & 5v5 formats feature tight fields geared for quick passing, quick decisions, and plenty of 1v1 and goal scoring opportunities. In this format, it
is the game that is the teacher.
We offer two levels of play: Gold & Silver in the U8-Adult divisions; U6-U7 teams compete in a "festival style" program that focuses on "Winning by Development"
and each player receives WFT awards at the end of each day.

Our tour also features a State/National Ranking System that is used to qualify teams (U8-Adult) for State Cups and seeding for the World Cup II.
In SC, NC and GA, teams must play in at least one Local event to advance to their State Champions Cup to compete for the state 5v5 championship.
We are also announcing our new affiliation with GA Soccer for our Georgia Champions Cup, which will be held in Conyers and hosted by the Rockdale Youth Soccer
