Milton High School To Host SAPA Winter Guard and Indoor Drumline Competition

The White Columns Southern Association for Performance Arts competition is being held at Milton High School Saturday, February 18th beginning at 9:00am.

What do you get when you combine skilled musicians, talented performers, precision, theatre, dance moves, colorful costumes, and props?

You get another exciting SAPA competition. SAPA, or Southern Association for Performance Arts, is the governing organization for indoor percussion and color guard groups featuring high school and independent color guards and indoor drumlines from all around the Southeast.

On Saturday February 18th, the public is in for a real treat as 43 color guards and 13 indoor drumlines compete at Milton High School in Milton Georgia. After months of intense practice, these performers will showcase their talent before a panel of distinguished judges who will score them in various categories including: general effect, visual and music, percussion, and more.

Tickets are only $8 at the door for the entire day of events as the competition begins at 9:00am. In addition, delicious food will be available at the concession stand along with a vendor marketplace featuring jewelry, clothing, accessories and more.

Whether you’re already a fan, or have never seen an indoor drumline or color guard show before, you will be thoroughly entertained and amazed with these young performers and their exciting shows.
