High Museum's "Vive Le Polo!" Event Features Roswell Art Galleries

Roswell art galleries (RAD) will show off paintings, sculpture and jewelry at the High Museum's Art Partners event "Vive Le Polo!" on Sunday, Aug. 26th at Chukkar Farm and Polo Club in the rolling horse country of Alpharetta.

Art Partners and Young Patron Members of the High Museum of Art, as well as the general public, are invited to bring picnic lunches and enjoy a polo match and a day of art in the pastoral landscape of Chukkar Farm. Adding more creavity to the festive atmosphere is the High's Hat Contest.  Guests are invited to enter and will be judged in categories and awarded prizes from the participating art galleries.  Categories are:

Most Glamorous - Teal Gallery & Events

Most Creative - Muse & Co.

Best Racing Theme - Taylor Kinzel

Funniest - Cow Girls

Most Outrageous - Synergy

Round up the family - the kids will love watching the potbelly pigs as well as the pounding of hooves during the match - or load up the car with a group of horse and art-loving friends.  For $30 a vehicle, guest can count on a fabulous end-of-the-summer Sunday afternoon out!
