A5 Volleyball Club-Info Meeting for 2012-13

Nationally-acclaimed A5 Volleyball Club announces two informational meetings for the 2012-2013 season: Wednesday, September 26 and Sunday, September 30, both at 7 p.m. at the MedAssets Training Center, 200 North Point Center East, Suite #200 in Alpharetta.  It’s only necessary for interested parents to attend one meeting.  Players are invited as well.

After the meetings, tryouts will be held the week of October 15 for girls 14 and under.  For girls 15
and older, tryouts will be November 6 – 8.  Tryouts for Boys will occur shortly thereafter, on a date and time to be announced.  Exact dates, times, locations, directions and registration instructions are posted on the Club’s website, www.A5volleyball.com.   Once a player has made a team, practices begin the week after Thanksgiving and the
season runs through the end of April for U14’s and through June for 15’s and older.

Since its formation in 2005 A5 has become a powerhouse
within the Junior Olympic volleyball community, winning more regional campionships than the rest of the Southern Region combined, and qualifying more teams for the National Championship Tournament over the past three years than any club in the nation. Starting with eight teams in that inaugural year, A5 and sister clubs GA5 and A5 South expect to field 65 teams in the 2012-13
season, ranging in age from U10 to U18.  A5 and GA5 sent 48 athletes from the class of 2012 on to play in college.
