Don't Miss This Chance to Run Down GA 400 on Sunday

Will pedestrians make it through the toll plaza quicker than cars do during weekday rush hour?

Normally pedestrians aren't allowed on GA 400, but on Sunday, Nov. 17, they'll be running for miles down the highway, and even going through the toll booths. It's time for the first and only Georgia Games "GA 400 – Pay the Last Toll 2013 Road Race."

But if you haven't already registered, you only have until noon on Thursday to sign up for the four-mile race.

When participants run through the tollbooths, they will pay the 50 cent toll for perhaps the last time since tolls will end after the Friday, Nov. 22 evening commute. But this time, all the money will go to Strong4Life, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Take home a 20th anniversary GA 400 Race T-shirt for your efforts.

Packet pick up for runners will be Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 17, from 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. at Atlanta Marriott NW, Marriott.
