AYFA Black Eagles Take Home 2nd Grade Title Trophy

The Maroon Eagles hold the Black Eagles on all but one play to fall, 7-0.

The AYFA Black Eagles were crowned NAFL 2nd Grade Division Champions on Saturday in the first title game of the day at Alpharetta's .

Mom Michelle D. Campbell shares that the Black Eagles have two main beliefs: We are Family and We Never Quit.

Those beliefs were demonstrated on the gridiron during a hard-fought battle between the Maroon Eagles and the Black Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 19.

After almost three full quarters of amazing defense on both sides, the Black Eagles pulled together and scored the only touchdown of the game, she said.

With just over a minute left in the third quarter, Damian Campbell threw an amazing pass to J.C. French who broke two tackles and outran his last defender for the 55 yard touchdown.

After holding the Maroon Eagles for one last quarter, the Black Eagles took the 7-0 championship victory and both teams were honored by the league during the post-game ceremony.
