Alpharetta's Morcos, Cougars Take Second in Soccer Championship

The Fellowship Christian School graduate is pursuing an Elementary Education degree from Clearwater Christian College

Amani Morcos of Alpharetta was a member of the 2013 Cougar women's soccer team of Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, FL, that took second place in the 2013 NCCAA DII National Championship this month.

The Cougars entered the tournament seeded No. 2 in the nation and moved in the championship game after defeating Cairn University of Philadelphia, 4-0 and Maranatha Baptist Bible College of Watertown, WI, 3-0. They secured the second place berth after losing a close match with Bob Jones University of Greenville, SC.

Amani is a graduate of Felllowship Christian School and the daugther of Sami and Lori Morcos. She is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College, according to a release from ReadMedia.

Located on a 138-acre property on Tampa Bay, Clearwater Christian College is home to more 500 undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a distinct Christian education in a traditional liberal arts environment.
