The freshly crowned boys lacrosse team arrived at 's stadium at halftime in the girls soccer match against Northview. Victory was far from certain at that point. After being cheered on by Milton fans celebrating their win over Lassiter, the boys began to chant and cheer for the Lady Eagles, who seemed happy to see Milton's second state champs of the day on hand.

The Lady Eagles took charge in the final 40 minutes, keeping on the attack and using strong defense to keep the Northview Titans away from their goal more often.
