The St. Francis Knights will be fighting Greenforest in the state Class A-Private boys basketball championship on Saturday, March 9.
Tipoff is at 12:45 p.m., but if you can't make it to Macon, you can always watch the finals live online. The Georgia High School Association in cooperation with Playonsports.com is televising the boys and girls basketball championships March 7-9.
St. Francis beat Aquinas High School 61-56 at a game played March 1 at Kennesaw State University to make it into the finals, as seen on video on PlayOnSports.com. Kobi Jordan-Simmons was picked as player of the game, according to MaxPreps Sports. He had 19 points in the game.
St. Francis is 24-8 (12-2 in region play) on the year.
Greenforest is is 26-4 (12-1 in region play). The Decatur school beat Athens Christian to make it to the finals.
