Sports Help Alpharetta High Students Pick Colleges

Five seniors signed letters of intent for their colleges.

Alpharetta High School's Athletic Director, Kirk Alexander, announced that the school had five seniors sign letters of intent during last week’s early signing period, signing with schools in basketball, diving and baseball. 

Basketball:

  • Ty Toney signed with Appalachian State University. Ty is the son of Johnda Toney and plays for coach Fredrick Hurt.
  • Lauren Brown signed with Elon University. Lauren is the daughter of Kowalski and Erma Brown and plays for coach Mike House.
  • Kylee signed with Vanderbilt University. Kylee is the daughter of Mark and Jody Smith and plays for coach Mike House.

  • Jack Nyquist signed with the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). Jack is the son of Kristen and Jim Hall and Robert Nyquist and dives for coach Emily Santowski.

Baseball:

  • Bryce Conley signed with Mercer University. Bryce is the son of Greg and Nancy Conley and plays for coach Steve Bohn.
