School Board Member Katie Reeves Meets Public at Cambridge High on Oct. 16

The representative for District 2, which covers most of Alpharetta and Milton, is one of four North Fulton school board members holding community meetings this month.

Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Linda McCain, Johns Creek's representative on the school board, will host her meeting Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at Abbotts Hill Elementary School.

Fulton County Board of Education members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
