In the second quarter, the Patriots scored three unanswered touchdowns to go ahead 28-7 at the half, enough points to secure the win. Austin Harper scored on a two-yard run, with Winchester completing touchdown passes to Tommy Pease of 16 yards and Ryan Felice of 24 yards, according to the posted release.

The Tigers weren't dismayed by the score, answering by first returning the second half kickoff for a TD. Next they capitalized on a Mt. Pisgah fumble to score again, cutting the lead to 28-20.
