North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club Honors High School Athletes

The final banquet of the year takes the awards into the playoffs.

High school football players were honored Monday night, Nov. 19, by the North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club at its final Player of the Week Dinner for the 2012 season.

High school athletes, their families and their coaches gathered at The Metropolitan Club to celebrate some of the best performances in high school football. The North Fulton Forsyth Touchdown Club recognized high school football players at its final Player of the Week Dinner of the 2012 season.

The NFFTD Club welcomed former University of Georgia Bulldog and retired Army Colonel Michael Steele as he spoke to the players and their families. Buck Lanford emceed the event for the NFFTD Club again as the club honored players from schools all across the North Fulton and Forsyth county area.

Week 12 Players (playoffs)

  • Offensive – Jake Weiczorek, West Forsyth High running back
  • Defensive – Sam Roberts, Blessed Trinity defensive back

Week 11 Players

  • Offensive – Tyler Hart, Fellowship Christian School running back
  • Defensive – Russell Monyette, Lambert High linebacker

Week 10 Players

  • Offensive – Michael Scullin, South Forsyth High tackle
  • Defensive – Myles Hill, Chattahoochee High free safety

Week 9 Players

  • Offensive – Christian Robinson, Centennial High wide receiver
  • Defensive – Julian Champ, King's Ridge Christian cornerback
