New Principal for Hopewell Middle School

Michael LeMoyne is currently assistant principal at Alpharetta High.

When Hopewell Middle students return to school later this year, they'll have a new principal.

Currently assistant principal at Alpharetta High, Michael LeMoyne will join Hopewell on Monday, June 17.

LeMoyne has served as an assistant principal for the past five years, with the last two at Alpharetta. He also taught ninth-grade science for nine years, and served as an athletic director for three.

According to a newsletter sent to parents from the Northwest Learning Community, LeMoyne attended the State University of New York at Oswego and Brockport.

LeMoyne is replacing Lenora Patterson, the controversial Hopewell principal who announced her resignation in April.
