Milton Students Shine at Science & Engineering Fair
Hopewell Middle, Alpharetta and Milton High School students bring back top prizes from the statewide competition.
student Raja Selvakumar won a grand prize award in the 64th annual Georgia Science and Engineering Fair and 25 Fulton County students won first place awards, as well as other special honors.
The middle and high school competition drew more than 500 of the state’s best science projects. In addition to the 12 first place awards that were earned, 48 special awards were given, which was nearly twice the number from 2011 and is greater than any other school system in Georgia.
