Milton, Alpharetta Students Invited to Scholar's Day

Georgia Southern provides incoming student an opportunity to tour campus, interview for scholarships and meet the university's president.

More than 230 outstanding high school seniors, including several from Milton and Alpharetta, were recently invited to attend Georgia Southern University's Scholars' Day in Statesboro.

The University's Scholars' Day is a unique invitation-only event providing incoming students the opportunity to meet Georgia Southern President Brooks Keel, learn more about student organizations, participate in campus and residence hall tours and interview for a variety of academic scholarships and the University Honors Program.

To receive an invitation, students must score a minimum of 1300 on the SAT, or 28 on the ACT, with a strong academic average in high school courses.
