Manning Oaks Elementary Student Captures Motion, Photo Prize

For the second year in a row Alexander Kramer, while a second grade student at Manning Oaks Elementary, won first place at the state level Reflections contest.

Kramer competed in the Special Artist/Photography category with a photograph of toy cars in mid-flight. This year’s Reflections theme was "The Magic of a Moment". Alexander accepted his award at a Woodruff Arts Center ceremony before the school year ended. His photograph, along with other students winning artwork from different categories, was on display the day of the ceremony.
