King's Ridge Tigers Work on Undefeated Season

The St. Francis Knights will be down Cogburn Road at home looking for their first win.

The King's Ridge Christian Tigers are undefeated and have scored at least 45 points in each of their three victories. Tonight they host Darlington

The Tigers beat Pinecrest Academy in their home opener 45-7. A week later, their Cogburn Road "neighbor," St. Francis High, fell victim to King's Ridge, who held the Knights scoreless in a 49-0 victory. Last week wasn't much different, with Pace Academy scoring the most ponts against the Tigers so far in a 48-20 King's Ridge win.

Darlington is 1-2 this season, but the Rome team is coming off a big victory against Chattooga, 31-7. Losses to Christian Academy of Knoxville (42-23) and Cartersville (28-7) got these other Tigers off to a bad start on the season.

St. Francis High's Knights have had little success this season. In their opener at Prince Avenue Christian they lost 48-20. The next week against Mount Vernon Presbyterian the team scored 28 points, but it was not enough as they lost, 35-28. In the next few weeks they've lost to King's Ridge (49-0), and Whitefield Academy (46-7).

Tonight they'll play Hebron Academy, which has had a wild two games so far. Two weeks ago the Lions lost to Lakeview Academy, 42-0. But last week they beat Cross Keys, 60-0. @ St. Francis
