King's Ridge Christian Beat Pinecrest Academy, 45-7

The Tigers defeated the Paladins in their season opener at the Forsyth County school.

The King's Ridge Christian Tigers took to the road for their first varsity football game of the season, and they left Pinecrest Academy winners, defeating the Paladins 45-7.

The Tigers had a balanced offense. In the passing game, junior quarterback Bailey Miller threw for two touchdowns. Sophomore wide receiver Penny Hart scored three touchdowns. In the ground game, sophomore running back Tarez Miller had two touchdowns.

Tiger's coach Jeff Pickren said, "This was one of the most complete football games I've seen our program play. It was great that everyone got to play tonight so we were able to get some experience for our younger guys."
