Girls Rule in Cambridge High's First Graduating Class

Casey Moore and Rachel Barker are the first valedictorian and salutatorian for the new school in Milton.

A year of firsts has been the norm for Cambridge High School, and today Principal Ed Spurka announced the top two graduating students: valedictorian Casey Moore and salutatorian Rachel Barker.

Spurka said the two students could have chosen to stay for their senior year at Milton High, but instead chose to finish out at Cambridge. That decision was a great one for the school, he said.

Both girls picked AP Biology teacher Brian Jeffrey as their most influential teacher at Cambridge. He said this morning that the two students have challenged him to be a better teacher.
