Fulton School Board Members Plan November Meetings with Public

School board announces November community meetings

Members of the Fulton County Board of Education will hold their November monthly meeting open to all members of the community starting on Nov. 7.

The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for November 2013:

Nov. 20, 9:30 a.m.
Sweet Apple Elementary School

Katie Reeves, District 2
Nov. 19, 7 p.m.
Alpharetta High School

Gail Dean, District 3
Nov. 14, 9:30 a.m.
Riverwood International Charter School

Linda Bryant, District 4
Nov. 7, 6 p.m.
Sandtown Middle School 

Linda McCain, District 5
Nov. 19, 8:30 a.m.
Medlock Bridge Elementary School

Catherine Maddox, District 6
Nov. 18, 9:30 a.m.
Love T. Nolan Elementary School

Julia Bernath, District 7
Nov. 19, 7 p.m.
Centennial High School

Fulton County Board of Education members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
