Fulton School Board Member Holds Meeting at Creek View Elementary

Katie Reeves will show the community the new board district maps being drawn to reflect population shifts.

Fulton School Board member Katie Reeves, whose District 2 encompasses most of Alpharetta and Milton, will hold her first community meeting of the new school year on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at Creek View Elementary School.

The 9:30 a.m. meeting is open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

In addition to their monthly business, board members plan to share draft maps showing how school board representation boundaries are being changed due to county population shifts identified in the 2010 Census. They also will collect feedback to share with the rest of the school board.
