Fulton BOE To Hold First School Property Tax Rate Hearing

The first of three public hearings on the proposed 2014 millage rate will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10.

The Fulton County School Board will convene the first of three millage rate public hearings on Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. June 10 at school system's administrative center, located at 786 Cleveland Avenue SW in Atlanta. 

The hearing will be followed by a series of work session presentations, and the board will convene to an executive session to discuss land, legal and/or personnel issues.

Once the board convenes to public session, it will begin discussion of the June 19 board agenda, followed by recognitions of students and staff and a public comment session

The second of three millage rate hearings will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by final adoption of the fiscal year 2015 budget at 7 p.m.

The third millage rate public hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. on June 19.
