White Columns Invitational

Milton, GA. - The 7th Annual WCI Marching Competition is right around the corner and the competition is incredible.

Eight high school marching bands from around the metro area will compete in this year’s White Columns Invitational including Centennial, Chattahoochee, Central Gwinnett, Creekview, Lambert, Alpharetta, Collins Hill, and Walton, for what is shaping up to be an exciting event this Saturday, October 1st, at Milton High School.

In addition to the competing bands, there will be exhibitions from Milton High School as well as Georgia Southern University’s Southern Pride Marching Band, featuring director Colin McKenzie.

“It seems that our WCI event keeps getting better and better each year and with these outstanding bands combined with Georgia Southern performing, this year is could be the best yet,” said Ryan Borger, Milton High School’s Director of Bands.

The White Columns Invitational is Saturday, October 1st at Milton High School Stadium from 4pm to 9pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children with under age 3 admitted free. Parking is free as well. In addition, there will be delicious concessions, a bake sale, and a basket raffle.

Everyone is invited to attend an evening full of exciting marching band music and competition as well as a chance to show support for the local high school area bands.
