Fulton County Board of Educ Host Monthly Meetings at local shcools

Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for April 2011:

 Linda Schultz, District 1
April 19, 9:30 a.m.
Crabapple Middle School

Katie Reeves, District 2
April 19, 9:30 a.m.
Crabapple Crossing Elementary School

 Gail Dean, District 3                      
Dean will attend Superintendent finalist Robert Avossa's community meeting next Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Westlake High School and invites District 3 citizens to attend as well. She will be available at the conclusion of the meeting to discuss school board items or any other business.

Fulton County Board of Education members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
