Chip's Nation Day

“Chip’s Nation Day”
Saturday, February 25, 2012
St. Francis High School Baseball Field
13440 Cogburn Road, Alpharetta, GA  30004

The St. Francis Diamond Club and Baseball Coaching Staff are hosting a “Chip’s Nation Day” at the St. Francis High School Baseball Field, Saturday, February 25, 2012. All proceeds will be donated to Chip's Nation, the fund set up to defray medical costs for Chip and his family.

Chip Madren was diagnosed with a brain tumor on August 17th, 2010 while a student at St. Francis Middle School. This has been a tremendous challenge for Chip and his family that has caused a drastic change in their lives. As Chip recovers and rehabilitates from surgery that removed a tumor in his brain, additional treatment will be required to free his body of this illness. Chip continues to have a fighting spirit and determined attitude and has just started an amazing program at the Shepard Spinal Center. The Madren’s, including their two others boys, Jack and Bret, are continuing to stay strong and beat this terrible disease.
