Hopewell Middle School Students Awarded

Awards given to students who are active in school, good citizens, show leadership and are patriotic.

Hopewell Middle School students recently earned Silver Mustang and Daughters of the American Revolution awards.

The Hopewell Middle School Silver Mustang awards winners of the 2012 graduating 8th grade class are Diya Sharma and Nico Leis.

The Silver Mustang award recipients exemplify what is means to be a Mustang of Hopewell Middle School by being involved in clubs and activities, maintaining an excellent academic record, showing school spirit, participating in community service, being well respected by their peers and are good citizens and role models to all.

The two 8th grade recipients of the  Daughters of the American Revolution award for 2012 from Hopewell Middle School were Amanda Smoltz and Liam Nugent.

The five qualities that  the recipients of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) award represent are honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism.

All four award recipients were nominated by their 8th grade teachers and after a vote and election there is one girl and one boy selected as Silver Mustang and one boy and one girl selected as a Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) recipient.
