Cambridge Names Jake Todd Athlete of the Week

Jake Todd, a freshman on the Cambridge High School varsity swim team, was named the Cambridge Athlete of the Week.

He qualified for the fastest heat for the team at the North Fulton County Championships. was the only swimmer to qualify to compete in the fastest heat in any event from the Cambridge squad at North Fulton County Championships in mid-January.

He's also qualified to compete at the North Georgia Regions in his 500-freestyle and 100-backstroke. In his 500-freestyle, Jake dropped almost 10 seconds from his best time to swim a 5:18.79 and earn third place, which qualified him to compete in Georgia State Championships at Georgia Tech in February.
