Alpharetta, Milton Students Shine at Spelling Bee

Webb Bridge's Sundaresan and Manning Oaks' Kamail are the top spellers in Fulton County

Ranjani Sundarsan of probably isn't conceited, but she knows how to spell it. That's the word with which she won the Fulton County Spelling Bee.

Approximately 60 students represented their elementary or middle school to the county-level competition, including four from Alpharetta and Milton. All of the top seven students came from North Fulton schools.
After several rounds of difficult words, students were narrowed down to the top six, with Ranjani Sundaresan from Webb Bridge Middle School emerging as the victor, according to the Fulton County Schools system. The winning word was “conceited.”
