Local Students Earn Spots on Georgia Southern Dean's List

Seventy students from the Alpharetta-Milton area earn high enough grades for the honor.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized 2,434 students for excellence in academics on the 2011 Fall Semester Dean's List, including 70 students from the Alpharetta-Milton area. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
