Alpharetta, Milton Students Earn Grades for Dean's List

Samford University names local residents to honors.

Some area residents have been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Samford University. They are:

  • Megan E. Light of Milton.
  • Mary O. McClure of Alpharetta.
  • William C. Stewart of Alpharetta.
  • Olivia J. Artusa of Alpharetta.
  • Sophia R. Artusa of Alpharetta.
  • Lindsey M. Collmus of Alpharetta.
  • Laura E. Jackson of Johns Creek.
  • Nicholas P. Martini of Alpharetta.
  • Kelsey N. Payne of Alpharetta.

To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Founded in 1841, it is the largest private university in Alabama with more than 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled annually.
