Ray’s At Killer Creek Announces New Menu Item Initiative And Grand Reopening Party

Ray’s at Killer Creek is currently revamping its overall feel with an updated look and fresh new food offerings.

It’s an exciting time for Ray’s at Killer Creek. In its 13th year of business, the Alpharetta restaurant is currently revamping its overall feel with an updated look and fresh new food offerings. From a menu item cooking competition amongst all Ray’s Restaurants’ chefs to a grand reopening party later this fall, the well-known Atlanta restaurant group is truly embracing this special season of change.

One important element of Ray’s at Killer Creek’s renewal is menu revision. To ensure all new dish additions are well-received by guests, all three Ray’s Restaurants are participating in a new menu item cooking competition. The contest started in late September when the executive chefs and sous chefs from each restaurant started developing new dishes, asking guests to try them and provide honest feedback. This process continued at each restaurant until Monday, Oct. 15, when the top item in each category (appetizer, entrée and side item) from each restaurant will be sent to Ray’s at Killer Creek for additional guest testing on Sunday, Monday and Friday of each week through November. Competing chefs include Executive Chef Ugo Okpareke and Sous Chefs Phillip Sullivan and Keith Tomasko from Ray’s in the City, Executive Chef Josh Warner and Sous Chefs Brian Goddard and Adam Mohl from Ray’s on the River and Executive Chef Tracey Bloom from Ray’s at Killer Creek. The winning chef will receive a weeklong vacation for two and a monetary prize will be given to the chefs placing second and third.

On Friday, Nov. 30, Ray’s at Killer Creek will host a grand reopening party to celebrate all the new happenings at the restaurant. This special event will give friends, family, frequent diners, media and V.I.P. guests the opportunity to see the renewed space, as well as enjoy an evening of music and delicious food and drinks. The winning dishes and chefs will also be announced at the party.
