Know Before You Go: Waffle House Fails Inspection
A food service inspector with the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness cited the restaurant for many violations, including an employee who failed to use soap while washing his or her's hands.
A Waffle House restaurant on Roswell Road near Sandy Springs has failed its most recent food inspection.
The restaurant at 3735 Roswell Road, just north of Buckhead, scored a 66 on its inspection conducted on May 29 by the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness.
The observations noted by the inspector were:
- Employees must use soap when washing hands*
- Must store food covered*
- Must sanitize dishware*
- Must maintain cold foods 41 and below*
- Failure to follow time as public health control; time elapsed on eggs above oven; Must provide written policy
- Must date mark repackaged foods*
- Must not place bleach near plastic ware*
- Must repair dials on dish machine*
- Must rid area of gnats and flies.*
