FIXED: Water Main Break Repairs Completed, Water Service Restored

Residents of an Alpharetta subdivision and some other homes nearby can once again shower, wash clothes and flush toilets after Fulton County made repairs.

FIXED - 6 p.m.: After a little more than four hours of work, a water main break on Marietta Street in Alpharetta has been repaired by a crew from the Fulton County Water Resources.

Fulton County Water Resources is responding to the water main break on Marietta Street near Old Milton Parkway, according an alert by Fulton County.Β

The release said there will be minimal traffic impact on Marietta Street, with no lane closure anticipated.

"Work crews are on site and repairs are expected to be completed by 8 p.m. today," said Bob Giordano of Fulton County Commnications Department.
